The Anschütz distribution unit 138-118 NG002 and NG003 are professional marine navigation modules for Anschutz gyro. They are developed to manage, distribute, and monitor heading information on modern bridge systems. Both types act as the central hub between gyro compasses, gyro repeaters, operator units, and external navigation devices.
When you order please specify which distribution unit you need: 138-118.NG002 or 138-118.NG003: the prices are different According to Anschutz, they are built in a rugged marine-grade aluminum housing to be protected from harsh environments. Both models are available in stock for wonderful prices.
Main Functions
Both distribution units; 138-118 NG002 / 138-118NG003 perform the following tasks:
• Distribution of heading information to all connected heading receivers
• System monitoring via alert and status messages
• Gateway between DV-Bus and CAN-Bus
• Power supply for:
– Heading repeaters (up to 9)
– Gyro Compass STD 22
– Operator Unit(s)
– Magnetic probe

NG002 – System Distribution & Gateway Version
The 138-118 NG002 focuses on heading data distribution, system control, and bus conversion.
It includes:
• Integrated I/O PCB (NB06-332)
• Integrated Interface PCB (NB06-333)
• Primary role as:
– Data distributor
– System monitor
NG003 – Multi-Sensor Heading Management
The 138-118 NG003 is designed for vessels using multiple heading sensors. It supports up to 4 heading sensors, for example:
✔ 3 gyro compasses + 1 magnetic compass
✔ 2 gyro compasses + 1 satellite compass + 1 magnetic compass
It provides 2 serial NMEA inputs for heading sensors.
