In Sailor RT-5022 VHF the display and menus have been separated into two units with the main VHF functions shown in a 7-segment display and the DSC functions and settings shown in a clear graphic LCD display. The graphic display can reset to sleep mode when not used for some time. In this way, the night vision is not disturbed. The 7-segment display is clearly readable from the distance of several metres and from even very wide angles. Both displays include text and indicators lit in red, which does not disturb the night view.
