Power Control Center (PCC) 100G3 VDR / S-VDR
Power control center is one of the main components of the VDR-100G3. This device is part of the data processing unit (DPU).
The power control center is responsible for managing the power system. The PCC transforms the status of power to the data management module (DMM). Additionally, power control center supplies power for audio, video, and NMEA modules. By doing so, it reduces the cabling.
Steps to Power On the VDR-100G3

Remove the cover of the DPU.

Ensure all circuit breakers and switches are off. (Power Control Centre for illustration of cables and switches).

Close the 12A battery circuit breaker.

Apply ship’s power to the VDR-100G3.

Close the remaining circuit breakers one at a time to ensure that each applicable component is receiving power.

Connect the required PC peripherals (mouse, keyboard, monitor). Or a client PC via an Ethernet connection to establish remote desktop connection to the DMM.
