It is designed to connect Sperry Marine Gyro Compass interface with Sperry Marine gyro repeater or bearing repeater compass systems. It functions as a junction/connection point (“terminal box”) for cables protecting terminals and wiring in a marine environment. Used with the Type 5016 Bearing Repeater Compass system The part is meant for marine navigation applications.
