Wärtsilä / Transas Serial Line Splitter
The Wärtsilä / Transas Serial Line Splitter is a marine interface device used to distribute serial navigation data to multiple systems. It is commonly installed in ECDIS, radar, GPS, gyro, and bridge networks on commercial vessels and offshore units. This device allows one or two serial data sources to be connected and safely split to several output ports. As a result, critical navigation data can be shared with multiple consumers at the same time. This device receives RS-422 / NMEA 0183 signals from navigation sensors.
